The father of a teenager who was stabbed while at a track meet has spoken out after being escorted from a press conference held by his son’s alleged killer’s family.
Austin Metcalf, 17, was stabbed in the heart when he was with his younger brother, Hunter, at the track and field championship at Kuykendall Stadium in Frisco on April 2.
According to reports, Metcalf and 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony became engaged in an argument over seats in the stands before he was murdered.

Local police confirmed, speaking to NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth, that officers were called to the scene at approximately 10am, stating: "Despite lifesaving measures by police and fire personnel, including CPR and the administration of blood, the (17)-year-old victim died."
Metcalf’s father, Jeff has since been vocal about his grief, and what is said to have happened that morning.

According to NBC News, Frisco police arrested and charged Anthony, releasing him from jail and allowing him to be held on house arrest.

But just on Thursday April 17, Metcalf admitted to showing up at a press conference which was held by the Anthony’s, who suggested they plan to fight their son’s first-degree murder charge, stating that lies have been told about him.

At the conference, Anthony’s mother Kala Hayes spoke about ‘lies and false accusations that have been said about us, especially over the past week’ as she claimed they ‘put my family in danger.’
Anthony’s parents previously claimed he acted in self-defence when Metcalf allegedly attacked him.

However, when Jeff turned up, he said that he was ‘disrespected’ when he was escorted from the conference by Dallas cops.
To him, things should have gone down differently as he shared that he wanted to pray with the family and put up a united front.
“They should have pulled me up [to the front] and said, ‘We are so sorry. Our condolences.’ The only thing I would have said was, ‘Okay, can we pray together and show the world we’re united',” he told The Post.
After he showed up at the event, he and his ex-wife claimed that they became victims of ‘swatting’ pranks, resulting in police turning up to their homes.

As a result, he claimed to have resigned from his real estate job to protect his colleague’s and clients’ safety.
The father said he’d hoped for an apology from the Anthony's, but that did not happen.
Instead, he was told to leave by many people.

“I get a text. My phone’s blowing up. It’s the f***ing DA. He said, ‘Jeff, leave! Leave! Leave!'” Metcalf shared to the publication. “My ex-wife texts me: ‘Leave, leave, leave!’ They’ll call the cops if I don’t get the f*** out of there.”
After his visit to the conference, Minister Dominique Alexander, an activist of Next Generation Action Network called his visit ‘a disrespect to the dignity of his son’.
To this, the father said: “After I leave, that Dominique … just gaslights to s*** out of me. Says I’m disrespecting, I’m so disrespectful, I’m disrespecting the dignity of my son by showing up … and I’m just like whatever, dude. My character’s been assassinated. Or they’ve tried to assassinate my character.
“This is my point: We’re both victims. My son’s dead. Their son will be in prison. But it’s the end of the day, [Karmelo] needs to be accountable for his actions.”
Alexander, who is representing Anthony and has been appointed as the family’s spokesperson, allegedly has a lengthy criminal history that includes being convicted on child abuse charges as well as allegations of domestic violence, according to Fox 4 Dallas.
