Social media has exploded again after 'Wide Neck Guy' was arrested, again.

Social media has exploded again after 'Wide Neck Guy' was arrested, again.

If you commit a crime, you'd think you'd try to look as inconspicuous and as unassuming as possible.

Unfortunately for Charles Dion McDowell, there's not much you can do about having a neck which appears as wide as it is long.

McDowell first made headlines in 2018 when he was arrested for several drug offences in northern Florida.

He was accused of having intent to sell, manufacture or deliver after being found in possession of cocaine and meth.

McDowell attempted to flee police, but with a neck that recognisable, it's unsurprising he didn't get too far.

Later that very same year, 'Wide Neck' was arrested again for driving with a revoked licence, improper lane usage, reckless driving and a second degree possession of marijuana charge, as well as trying to evade police, again.

In 2019, a judge revoked his bond and so 'Wide Neck' ended up having to 'sit in jail until his case' was over.

And now, in 2022, he's back at it again, despite in his Instagram bio stating, 'I ain't ever going back to that life' - old habits die hard and all that.

However, the latest arrest is in relation to a string of very different charges.

McDowell has accused of sending threatening messages and showing up to a woman's house.

He has subsequently been taken in by police on charges of stalking after a warrant for his arrest was issued in August earlier this year, according to the New York Post.

'Wide Neck' has also been accused of withholding child support.

Police records state he's currently being held without bond.

The internet has once again exploded over the resurfaced mugshots of 'Wide Neck'.

One user said: "Wide neck is back, guys!"

"Wideneck need to go somewhere don't no one want a wide neck stalker in thier life," another wrote.

A third commented: "Wide neck just can’t get right can’t he?"

'Wide Neck' has gone on to star in a music video alongside someone nicknamed 'Daddy Long Neck'.

While McDowell's girthy neck may have done him no favours in being recognised by police, every time he's been arrested his mugshots have stirred up quite the storm online.

They've even lead to McDowell having a significant Instagram following of over one million users, as well as becoming part of a rap group with a man who has a very thin and long neck named 'Daddy Long Neck'.

What is this world coming to?
