Courtroom footage from a case in Cincinnati shows the moment a father attacked the man accused of murdering his three-year-old son.
Desean Brown, 22, has been accused of stabbing mother Nyteisha Lattimore to death before placing her son, Nylo Lattimore, in the Ohio River in December 2020.
Nylo’s body remains missing, but the prosecutor in the case has said the young boy's blood was found on a Paw Patrol blanket recovered with Nyteisha’s body, while his stroller is said to have been found in the river.

See what happened when Nylo's father Antonio Hughes attacked Brown in court:
The incident took place as Brown appeared in court on Thursday (23 June) for a pretrial hearing on a motion in the case against him.
Hughes charged up to Brown's table shortly before the hearing began and punched him in the right side of his head, according to Hamilton County Sheriff’s PIO Kyla Woods, Fox 19 News reports.

Two sheriff’s deputies quickly restrained Hughes, after which he was placed into custody.
Faith Burton, a family friend of the father, said Hughes' pain 'took over' during the incident.
"He did what I think any of us would do," she told Fox 19.
Burton described Hughes as being heartbroken over the loss of his son, which has been made even more tough by the fact his body is yet to be found.

She explained: “I’ve had to be on late-night calls, because he’s on the edge, you know? He's on the verge... I couldn’t live without my child either, you know?
"So I get his emotions, I get why he acted out in court today.”
Judge Megan Shanahan found Hughes in contempt of court as a result of the incident and sentenced him to seven days at the Hamilton County Justice Center.

Commenting on the incident, Woods said: "Judge Megan Shanahan and the Hamilton Sheriff’s Office would like to emphasise that this behaviour will not be tolerated in the courthouse."
Brown is currently being held without bail after Nyteisha's body was found on 12 December, 2020.
The suspect has been accused of purchasing a body bag from eBay before travelling to the Ohio River in an Uber, in which he claimed the body bag contained clothes.
Last week, Cincinnati police specialist Kimberly Kelley said Brown had told a close friend he was going to do something to Nylo because Nyteisha had miscarried his own baby.

Brown is facing the death penalty for the crime if he is found guilty.
