An 'unlicensed' dentist in Illinois reportedly gave patients fake braces and left them with 'decaying teeth'.
Monica Davis had already been charged with operating without a licence in Las Vegas, and has now been accused of practicing illegal dentistry in Illinois, too - apparently with devastating consequences.

Davis' business The Veneer Experts is now under investigation in Illinois after she reportedly provided 'fake braces' and veneers to 'several patients'.
The business was marketed on TikTok as 'changing lives one smile at a time'.
One patient, Monica Bailey, visited Davis along with her 15-year-old daughter, where she claims she was fitted with sham braces.
Bailey underwent the procedure just nine days after Davis was released from custody in Nevada.

She said: "It's hard. It is. I'm just hoping that we can have a positive outcome.
"[She] cleaned my teeth and started, you know, putting the glue on and putting the brackets on for the braces and I thought what she was doing was how it's supposed to be done."
When Bailey tried to get in touch, she couldn't reach Davis on the telephone.
"One of the numbers was disconnected. The other one, nobody would answer," she said.

"It's crazy to me that she can do this in Las Vegas and post bail, and you come here and do the same thing. It's like you have no fear."
Another patient, Ralph Jones, claims he had veneers fitted by Davis.
He says they started 'falling out' and has no idea what she actually 'put inside [his] mouth'.

"They just started decaying and falling out, and over the course of the years, it just started making my appearance look pretty bad," he said.
Although he was told the veneers would last up to a decade, Jones said he woke up with a chipped tooth.
CBS 2 reports they managed to reach Davis twice for comment.

On the phone, they asked: "So you don't have any comment on the people that you did procedures on here in Illinois?"
In response, Davis hung up.
Meanwhile, it's reported that staff at The Veneer Experts were asked to leave their office in Schaumburg. They had reportedly received several calls from disgruntled customers.
CBS 2 report that Davis' next Las Vegas court date is in May. Meanwhile, she may be appearing in front of a judge in Illinois 'soon'.
UNILAD has also reached out to Illinois State Police for a comment.
