Former US president Donald Trump has gone on a bizarre rant about windmills in response to being questioned about the conflict in Ukraine.
While Trump allegedly 'admired' Putin for his ability to 'kill' anyone who stands against him, the former president of the United States also suggested a strange idea to 'bomb the sh*t out of Russia' and blame it on China.
Adding to the array of peculiar comments that Trump has made regarding Russia's ongoing invasion of Ukraine, the 75-year-old decided to waffle on about windmills when asked what he thought would happen next in the invasion.
Interviewed by Kyle Forgeard for the 'Full Send' podcast, Trump was questioned: 'What do you see happening next then? It seems like the tensions are high. How does this all end? Is this going to be a long-term thing? How do you see it unfolding?'

Trump responded: 'Well, and I said this a long time ago, if this happens, we are playing right into their hands. Green Energy. The windmills, they don't work, they're too expensive, they kill all the birds, they ruin your landscapes, and yet the environmentalists love the windmills.
'I've been preaching this for years. The windmills – and I had them way down – but the windmills are the most expensive energy you can have, and they don't work. And, by the way, they last a period of 10 years and by the time that they start rusting and rotting all over the place, nobody ever takes them down. They just go onto the next piece of prairie or land and destroy that.'
Trump's hatred of windmills intensified after he lost a court battle with the Scottish government. He tried to halt a project for a 'really ugly wind farm' being built near to his Aberdeen golf resort, The New York Times reports.

The former president has also claimed that house prices will plummet 'by 75% in value' for those who live near a windmill.
He even stated that the sound of the turbines 'causes cancer'.
Trump's comments follow current US president Joe Biden's decision to ban all Russian oil imports into the country.

Biden stated that the US would not be complicit in 'subsidising Putin’s war' and described the move as a 'powerful blow' against Russia's ability to keep funding the invasion.
Those in the US are expected to now face increasing prices as a result, however, the president reflected: 'Defending freedom is going to cost.'
