As the richest man in the world, Elon Musk can certainly have a big influence, and he has done just that for one cryptocurrency coin.
The billionaire has caused the Harry Bolz cryptocurrency coin to skyrocket in just a few hours.
How did he do it?

Well, by changing his Twitter profile name to... you guessed it, Harry Bōlz.
In case you missed it, Harry Bōlz is a play on... well, come on, you can work it out.
And it's seemingly on brand for Musk, who tends to take to social media with the silliest puns and jokes.
Not long after the name change, Harry Bōlz was launched on trading platform PumpFun and gained an astonishing 17,000% rise in value in less than 30 minutes. The memecoin’s Marketcap reportedly reached over $11 million.

But as massive as this was, interestingly enough, this wasn’t the first time he has pulled a stunt like this, briefly having this be his handle back in April 2023.
Back then, he admitted that it was just a stunt, writing in a post: “Tbh, I’m just hoping a media org that takes itself way too seriously writes a story about Harry Bōlz …”
The reason why he has made the change this time around isn't quite clear, however.

As you can imagine, people on Twitter have been losing their minds and hoping to make some money off this massive surge.
One user wrote: “So I opened X this morning and saw another Musk imposter. Click on his profile, and Harry Bolz is actually Elon Musk. What a time to be alive!! You can not make this sh*t up! Happy Tuesday Everyone!"

Another said: “Elon Musk has changed his Profile name to 'Harry Bōlz'.

“After changing his Profile name the price of the #HARRYBOLZ token increased by more than 475x in less than 2 hours.
A third commented: “so Elon musk just rebranded to harry bōlz and the internet is speedrunning meme history—world record pace.
With another writing: “Elon musk just changed his name on twitter to Harry Bōlz.
“This coin is about to go parabolic. YOU ARE EARLY.”

However, some people were less than impressed, with one person simply writing: “Elon is a child.”
And another adding: “Can we quit pretending this has anything to do with trading? It's just a bunch of gambling addicts throwing their money in a pot trying to outmaneuver each other.”
