A DoorDash driver left viewers divided after he tucked in to a customer's order after they failed to give him a tip.
Waiting for food to be delivered can be painful, especially when you know you've ordered one of your favorite treats.
As soon as that 'order confirmed' receipt comes through, the countdown is on to the moment you can sink your teeth into the meal. So, how would you feel if you found out someone else had filled up on it first?
That's what one TikTok user and DoorDash driver, who goes by the handle @sidehustleaddict, chose to do when he picked up an order from a customer who hadn't left a tip for the driver.

In his clip, the delivery driver showed the bag of food to the camera as he sat in the front seat of his car.
But rather than starting the engine and setting off towards the home of the paying customer, he began criticizing them for failing to tip.
"Oh s**t, look what we got today, fam, haha!" he said in the clip. "A DoorDash non-tipper again.
"Oh man, yesterday DoorDash was doing a reminder for DoorDash non-tippers to tip or else you're gonna wait like 3 hours for your Taco Bell, at least."

"But apparently these DoorDash non-tippers didn't understand - let's see what he's got in the bag," he continued.
The TikToker then proceeded to dig around in the bag, pulling out a steak breakfast chalupa and a sachet of diablo sauce sauce.
"This dude likes it spicy," he said, before adding: "You know, I be telling these DoorDash non-tippers, right, no tip, I eat!"

The driver then proceeded to take a bite of the steak chalupa - but while he seemed more than comfortable with his actions, the post has sparked a mixed reaction online.
A lot of viewers appeared to find the TikTok amusing, with many posting streams of laughing emojis in the comment section, but others believed the TikToker was wrong for eating the customer's food.
"Happy I go And get my own food can’t be giving free money to people just driving," one hit out.

"Hope you get fired bro - idk why you’d flex not doing your job", another added.
In an interview with Business Insider, DoorDash drivers shared their thoughts on suitable tip amounts, with one recommending customers should 'tip based on the size of the order'.
Across 10 deliver workers interviewed, a 'reasonable tip' was determined to be somewhere between 15 to 20 percent of the total bill.
