Cheese lovers will know there are many different types of the dairy product available on the market.
Whether it be the classic cheddar, gooey camembert or delicious brie, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Blue cheese refers to any cheeses made with the addition of cultures of edible molds, subsequently creating blue-green spots or veins throughout its structure.
Variations of the dairy product can differ in taste, color, and form.
Blue cheese is notoriously stinky which can be caused from either the mold or the various specially cultivated bacteria present.

The cheese is most commonly made using a type of mold called Penicillium Roqueforti, something which is of course responsible for its distinct taste, smell, and appearance.
Unlike many other types of mold, the type of Penicillium Roqueforti used to make blue cheese do not produce mycotoxins. This makes it safe to consume for cheese lovers across the globe.
While blue cheese may be all good to eat, a video posted by 'non aesthetic things' on X has put a lot of folks off.

The short clip showcased how the Penicillium Roqueforti was incorporated with the mix, to the point where the cheese is ready to go.
But many users have flocked to the comments section of the post to provide their thoughts.
"You still eating blue cheese after watching this?" the video was captioned.
"Eeeww," one user simply said, while a second added: "Not anymore, no thank you sir!"

A third wrote: "Eating a cheese that grows old, nah not me."

If you’re a die-hard veggie who often eats Parmesan, then - sorry to break it to you - you’ve been unintentionally consuming an animal product this entire time.
This Italian hard cheese, which also goes by the name Parmigiano Reggiano, is actually made from cows’ milk.
While the cheese making process has been going on for a while, some have only just realized the beloved dairy product isn’t veggie-friendly.
"Today years old when I found out Parmesan cheese is made from baby cow’s stomach & I could go cry," one person penned.
