A Reddit user who identified themselves as a private chef for an 'actual billionaire' has revealed the 'weirdest' request they've ever had while working for the family.

If you could request any food on demand, what would it be?

Mine would probably be an extravagant, multi-layered chocolate cake with fudge sauce and ice cream. Time-consuming, yes, but probably not that weird.

After having worked for three years for one particularly wealthy family, Reddit user 'Sea-Command-3786' has spilled the beans on just how weird their requests can be - and you're probably not prepared for the most extreme one.

The chef opened up in an 'Ask Me Anything' Reddit thread on Sunday (October 27), in which he admitted he was working under a non-disclosure agreement, but could 'dance around' it to share some insights.

He revealed the family to be 'quite healthy people' who tend to stick to a 'set eating schedule', meaning he's rarely called up at 2am by one of the family members with a hankering for some nachos.

When it comes to the type of food he's cooking up for his bosses, the chef revealed there's one food in particular that he has to prepare a 'ridiculous amount' - and it's one of the first things that springs to mind when you think of being 'healthy'.

He explained: "I prepare grilled chicken breast a ridiculous amount. I don’t hate it but it’s definitely not my favorite thing to cook."

The chef has much more fun 'studying [and] preparing' Thai cuisine, but he's paid to make what the bosses want - and if that's a grilled chicken breast, that's what they'll get.

And if they want something to feed to a dog? Well, he'll make that too.

Yep, you heard me.

One curious Reddit user asked the chef to name the 'weirdest request' the family had ever given him, to which he responded: "Weirdest request was probably preparing a steak tartare for a guests [sic] dog."

In case you're not boujee enough to be familiar with steak tartare - I know it's not exactly something I regularly come across - the dish consists of raw ground beef.

According to trusty old Wikipedia, it's usually served with onions, capers, parsley or chive, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and other seasonings, which are usually presented separately, allowing the consumer to season the meat to their liking. Admittedly, the dog would have probably struggled to do that part.

To top it off, the dish is commonly served topped with a raw egg yolk.

It sounds like a proper treat for a dog, but I don't think I'd be jealous to see one eating it. But I would definitely be jealous knowing the animal had been served by a private chef.
