Shocking bodycam footage has revealed the moment a four-year-old boy allegedly 'fired a gun' at police officers in the US.
Cops in Utah were responding to a call that a drive-thru worker was being threatened by a dad named Sadaat Johnson near Salt Lake City back in February, according to News9.
Sgt Melody Cutler, a spokeswoman for the Unified police department, said Johnson pulled out his weapon at a McDonald's drive-thru and demanded his order be corrected.

The Guardian reports the dad was told to pull into the waiting bay while staff fixed the error.
However, as they did that, they also called police.
Authorities arrived and tried to detain Johnson, however he reportedly didn't cooperate with police.

Sgt Cutler says the man was pulled from the car and as they were arresting him, one officer noticed a gun being pointed at them from the backseat of the car.
Authorities quickly discovered Johnson's four-year-old boy had somehow got control of his firearm.
An officer swiped the gun away from the child and a round was discharged, according to CNN.
One officer can be heard saying 'shots fired' in the bodycam footage as they ducked for cover.

Thankfully no one was seriously hurt in the incident.
Sgt Cutler reveals a witness told police they heard the dad encourage his four-year-old to shoot at the officers.
Salt Lake County Sheriff, Rosie Rivera, said that evidence was shocking.
“To have an adult think it is OK to encourage a four-year-old to pull a firearm and shoot at police illustrates how out of hand the campaign against police has gotten,” she said.

"This needs to stop, and we need to come together as a community to find solutions to the challenges we face in our neighborhoods."
Local 12 says the four-year-old boy told police: "I grabbed my dad’s gun and tried to shoot the police so he could be free and do what he wanted.”
NewsOn6 reports the father admitted this wasn't the first his young son had managed to hold the weapon.
The dad was later convicted of child abuse and assault.
