Nevertheless, let's see what sports therapist and owner of PRO TO COL Sports Systems Julie Pitois has to say.
Her TikTok video shows an exercise which she claims can help to relieve some tension in your hands and wrists.
She explained that sometimes the small bones in your hand can shift a bit, which makes bending your wrist to do yoga or a push up extremely painful.
The video was posted to Instagram with the caption: "For all of you parents out there moving your kids to school this week. From driving them to college, getting down on the floor to put together their dorm rooms and, more challenging for some, getting up off the floor when you’re done. It can take a toll on your body.

"Especially that nagging little pain in your wrists. If the carpal bones have shifted a bit due to all of the pressure of climbing around on your hands and knees."
The exercise consists of grasping your wrist with the other hand and then rotating your hand around in a circle three times.
It might just be moving your hand around in a circle, but people in the comments were falling over themselves with anecdotes raving about how much it had helped them.

One person wrote: "Are you kidding me? I've searched for so long and found nothing. And you just pop up while I'm scrolling and save my life?!
"My wrist pain was so bad I couldn't even get to the angle to hold a plank, and then they all pop into place and I feel no pain whatsoever?? You're my hero."
Another replied: "The noises my wrist made when I tried this was impressive. It also felt really good. Like a muffled cement mixer."

A third said: "Wow! I have always thought I had really poor flexibility in my right wrist versus my left… you just equaled it out. I can’t really believe!! But amazing!!"
Of course, it is worth reiterating that if you are experiencing persistent pain in your wrist, or any other part of your body, speak to a trained medical professional directly.
