Howard Stern has shared his opinions on Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox News, saying it was a ‘good life lesson’ for the TV host.
Fox News announced earlier this week that Carlson would no longer be working for the network effective immediately.
In a brief and somewhat vague statement, Fox News thanked Carlson for his work and revealed that his slot would be covered by ‘rotating Fox News personalities’ until a successor was found.

It read: “Fox News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways. We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.
"Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st. Fox News Tonight will air live at 8pm/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating Fox News personalities until a new host is named.”
Yesterday (Wednesday April 26), Stern weighed in on the situation during his long-running The Howard Stern Show.

“I’ve been a big money earner for radio companies for a long time now, but there’s one thing I never forget.
“My boss is super wealthy. Like if you work for Rupert Murdoch, you know that motherf***** got so many billions that as important as Tucker Carlson might be to the Fox Network, he will fire your a** if you’re a pain in the a**.”
He added: "At the end of the day, you are a fly on his a******. You’re nothing because he’s still gonna have billions upon billions upon billions of dollars and own a giant corporation. And you know, you cannot f*** up. You can only push them so far."
He went on to say that Carlson had forgot he was a ‘worker bee’.

“The guys like Bill O’Reilly, Tucker Carlson. The thing they forget is that they’re another brick in the wall,” he continued.
“That’s what you are. You’re a worker bee. I’m a worker bee. You know, they pay me well and everything.
"I don’t let it… [not ]for a minute do I think I’m more important than the man who owns this place. He is my Lord and Saviour.”

Carlson appeared to be unaware that he was hosting what would turn out to be his last ever show for the network last Friday (April 21).
While tucking into a pizza with sausage and pineapple on it, Carlson said: "That's it for us for the week; we'll be back.”
His final words before the show finished were: "We'll be back on Monday. In the meantime, have the best weekend with the ones that you love, and we'll see you then."
But of course, he wasn’t back on Monday.
