Influencer Corinna Kopf hits back at AI scam that's convincing her fans she's marrying them

Influencer Corinna Kopf hits back at AI scam that's convincing her fans she's marrying them

Numerous fake accounts are said to have been created by people pretending to be the influencer

A well-known influencer has been forced to speak about following reports that her fans are being scammed.

Corinna Kopf is a vlogger-turned-OnlyFans star and boasts a whopping 6.6 million followers on Instagram.

With her huge following in mind, Corinna has had to speak out and warn her fans that AI versions of her have been created and in some cases they have successfully scammed people into thinking that it's genuinely her.

Elsewhere, fake accounts on platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram are said to have been created in her name, and people have lost money to fraudsters on such social media platforms.

Corinna, who has previously said she makes $1 million a month from OnlyFans, became aware of such issues after being messaged by people on Instagram.

Sharing screenshots of some of these conversations, one person said that one guy who has fallen victim to the AI scam is allegedly under the impression that he's engaged to Corinna.

The person messaged her: "I saw a dude on Reddit that is convinced that he's been engaged to you since October and he posted an AI vid somebody sent to him of you telling him how much you love him."

Corinna has since accessed the video for herself and shared it on Instagram labelling it a 'masterpiece'.

The AI version of her is heard saying: "I don’t like how you are leaving me online like that. I already told you that I’m the real Corinna Kopf and I really love you. I told you that I lost my purse with all of my information and you did not talk anything."

However, a key sign that the video is fake is that as the fake version of Corinna touch her face, the top of her finger seemingly disappears.

According to Creator Handbook, other key indicators of AI-generated videos include unnatural movements or expressions, mismatched audio and video, unusual textures, lighting and objects morphing or appearing/disappearing.

Meanwhile, someone else replied to one of her unrelated Instagram Stories asking if she'd deleted her Telegram account and accused the influencer of having 'no intention of paying [them] back'.

Sharing a snap of the conversation, Corinna wrote below it: "The amount of messages I get like this on the daily is very concerning… if I don’t message you from this account only, it is not me.

"I’m not on Telegram nor Whatsapp, nor any email or phone number. This account only, please don’t get scammed."
