Influencer Giorgi 'Tzane' Janelidze has died in tragic circumstances.
The fitness influencer was filming an abandoned village in Ghorio di Rogudi, Calabria, Italy, when he slipped into a ravine on Wednesday (March 13).
The village was evacuated in 1971 after a series of earthquakes, landslides, and floods.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, but by the time they arrived, it was too late.
There was no guard rail in front of the drop, which was so steep that the firemen were unable to descend on foot.
A helicopter had to be sent to recover the 23-year-old's body, which was finally winched up on a stretcher yesterday.

While Tzane was born in Georgia, the late social media star resided in Greece.
In the wake of his untimely death, his girlfriend, Elena Margariti, wrote on her Instagram Stories: “The most beautiful person inside and out, the biggest adventure I’ve ever had with someone.
“With my man, my whole life. Many dreams, a home together, through our difficulties, through our joys, and we made it, us against all odds. "
She went on: “So unfairly, so early. I love you so much. We will meet again. My Tzitsi.”

Tzane’s body was taken to Saline Joniche and handed to the authorities.
Sadly, this isn't the first time an influencer has lost their life while creating content.
In May of last year a Chinese social media star died after downing bottles of alcohol.

Sanqiange, also known as Brother Three Thousand, was reported to have taken part in a 'PK' challenge against another influencer.
'PK' challenges involve one-on-one battles to win rewards and gifts from viewers.
He lost the challenge and as a consequence was made to drink Baiju, a strong spirit containing up to 60 percent alcohol.
According to viewers, Sanqiange drank seven bottles of the spirit.

A friend of his said at the time of his passing: "I don’t know how much he had consumed before I tuned in. But in the latter part of the video, I saw him finish three bottles before starting on a fourth."
He added to told Shangyou News: "The PK games ended at around 1 a.m. and by 1 p.m., (when his family found him) he was gone."
