A new album is set to be released next month featuring none other than Johnny Depp.

He may have been busy launching and winning a defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, but Johnny Depp has also been involved with other endeavours.

Amid the trial, while the jury were deliberating, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor wasted no time in hopping on stage alongside English rock guitarist Jeff Beck.

He appeared in Sheffield, as well as also popping up at London's Royal Albert Hall, armed with a guitar and even contributing to the concerts with some vocals.

Beck has since revealed that he and Depp are set to release an album together.

Beck made the announcement during his concert at the Sage venue, yesterday, 2 June - a day after Depp won his defamation case.

The guitarist stated: "I met this guy five years ago and we've never stopped laughing since.

"We actually made an album. I don't know how it happened. It will be out in July."

News of the album follows an Instagram post by Depp in the aftermath of his legal win stating how he was excited to start a 'new chapter' in his life, telling followers and fans that 'the best is yet to come'.
