It’s common knowledge that Keanu Reeves is too pure for this world. He must be protected at all costs, and there is nothing we wouldn’t do for Keanu. All hail Keanu!
If you’re in agreement with the above sentiment, you’ll be stoked to learn that the planet’s favourite actor has made public a list of some of his favourite movies.
Needless to say, there are some absolute bangers on there, and we’d recommend cramming as many into your eyeballs as possible.

Keanu shared the list with GQ last year, revealing that his Matrix co-star Carrie-Anne Moss had asked him to recommend some films she could watch with her teenage kids.
Keanu ‘sifted through years of texts’ to locate the list (peak Keanu, that) and even wrote two lists for Carrie-Anne.
Keanu initially came up with a ‘first pass’ of his favourite flicks, but then went back and updated the list.

Keanu’s 18-strong list of movie recommendations went as follows:

The Road Warrior: Mad Max 2
Speaking to the magazine, Carrie-Anne was quick to gush about her co-star, saying: “His work ethic is unlike anyone I’ve ever met, and I’ve seen it up close: He trains harder, works harder, cares more, always asks more and more questions to understand the depth of what we’re doing. And while he was doing all of that for himself, he always had an eye out for me.”
She added: “Like when I asked him for those movies, it seems like a little thing, but he’s so busy, he’s exhausted, and took the time to write this very, very thoughtful list."
While we’re on the subject of Keanu’s co-stars saying lovely things about him, hit-maker Rina Sawayama recently opened up to Variety about being cast in John Wick 4 and revealed just how welcoming the star had been.
Sawayama said: “Keanu was amazing, and exactly what you think he’d be like, so chill. But he looked after me in loads of different ways, very much behind the scenes — not telling me that he was doing something for me, but making sure that it was done.
“Although him being one of the executive producers means that he had a hand in casting me, so that was really crazy to comprehend.” We’re not crying, you’re crying.
