Police officer who slept with six co-workers accused colleague of 'being gay' when he turned her down

A police officer who had sex with six colleagues told one officer that he ‘must be homosexual’ because he knocked back her sexual advances, according to a new lawsuit.

Tennessee officer Maegan Hall was kicked out of the La Vergne Police Department after it was discovered that she’d slept with six other officers.

The 27-year-old police officer responded with a lawsuit, claiming that she had been abused and groomed by those above her in the force, making allegations against several senior officers.

However, one of those accused has now responded with allegations of his own, claiming that Hall was ‘persistently flirting’ with him and ‘pressuring him to engage in sexual relations’ despite the fact that both parties were married.

In a court filing obtained by the Daily Mail, Sergeant Lewis Powell, a 15-year veteran, also alleged that Hall had a ‘fetish’ for Black men.

That filing states: “Initially, she began by talking about sex.

“She complained to Powell that her own marital sex life was unsatisfying,

“After Powell responded with an idea or two about how she might spice things up with her husband, Hall asked if Powell could demonstrate.

“That way, she said that she would know how to please her husband.”

Hall and Powell lost their jobs – along with three other colleagues – during a clear-out after allegations around wife-swapping and hot tub parties started to emerge from the force.

However, Police Chief Burrel ‘Chip’ Davis told Hall off for ‘dipping her pen in company ink’, he was later sacked himself when it turned out that he knew about the situation.

In her suit, Hall alleges that she was victim to ‘predators’ such as Powell who ‘positioned himself as a reliable source of companionship and advice’.

However, Powell’s counter-suit alleges that Hall badgered him for sex and sent him explicit texts.

After Powell hit upon marital troubles, he committed an ‘act of treachery’ against his wife by engaging in sexual behaviour with Hall, which he claims he regrets.

The filing continues: “Consequently, in approximately May 2022, Powell began trying to break things off amicably with Hall, saying that he loved his wife.

“Nonetheless, Hall persisted in trying to entrap him back into a relationship. Hall (who is white) appeared to have some sort of fetish for Powell (who is Black) based on his race.

“On multiple occasions, while at work, she told him to put his 'big black d***' in her mouth and 'g**' her with it.

“When Powell held firm, saying that he wanted to be with his own wife instead, Hall said that he must be a homosexual.”

Powell then claims she started to engage in sexual activity with ‘multiple other officers’ instead.

He is claiming for $200,000 of compensation for reputational damage and emotional distress.

Both were sacked, alongside fellow officers, and eventually Davis, after an internal inquiry last year.

Hall’s lawsuit says she has ‘gained unwanted international notoriety as the ‘girls gone wild’ female officer and has become the butt of countless internet jokes, memes and sexual remarks’.

The document adds: “But for the sexual grooming and abuse perpetrated by the City of La Vergne, Sgt. McGowan, Sgt. Powell, and Chief Davis, Ms. Hall would not have been subjected to this extraordinary degree of public ridicule and shaming.”

UNILAD has contacted La Vergne Police Department and Maegan Hall's legal representatives for a comment.
