A man in Turkey has broken a gravity-defying Guinness World Record. What have you accomplished lately?
Mohammed Muqbel's eggscelent reputation precedes him: the 'king of balancing' broke the record for the largest stack of eggs with three eggs balanced on top of each other in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2020.
With a combination of concentration, patience and the ability of identifying the centre of mass of each egg and stacking them exactly to match all their combined centre of mass, he's a record-breaker like no other. Of course, for Muqbel, that was never going to be an-oeuf.

Muqbel faced off against his hardest competitor yet in a bid to break his record: himself. Over in Istanbul, he embarked on a mission to balance four eggs on top of each other. Amazingly, he pulled off the amazing feat without cracking up, and the record will be hard to beat.
'Many around the world fail to realise the hard work associated with balancing. Balancing takes a toll on your body because of the high levels of focus needed to achieve such a thing,' he told the Guinness World Records.
'The art of balancing involves tremendous patience, focus and calmness. I would even say it is linked to the science of physics and engineering. The most difficult part from the attempt was finding the centre of gravity for each egg due to its unique shape and texture,' he added.

Muqbel became interested in balancing different objects at a young age, and his passion has evolved ever since. 'I consider myself an ambitious person, and I aim to showcase my skills to the whole world one day. Breaking two records has been a blessing, and I can’t wait to attempt more in the future,' he said.
‘I faced many doubts, challenges, setbacks and a lot of criticisms through my journey but the minute I got my certificate, it was all worth it. I highlighted my skills and proved to everyone how capable I am, and it felt wonderful.'
Muqbel's efforts have earned him thousands of followers on social media, with many hoping he'll go on and balance even more eggs. 'Dream of the Impossible! When I say down to work out what was impossible, it came up as balancing eggs, and now it's done. By not me, the Impossible is done. How inspiring... I'd like to see seven done, is it possible?' one wrote.
