People think Marjorie Taylor Greene may have auditioned for American Idol as footage emerged of one hopeful contestant that looks eerily similar to her.
Back in 2002, when American Idol was just getting off the ground a singer, with the incredible stage name Stefanie Sugarman, rocked the judge's worlds.
When we say rocked, we mean that the cheese seller by day, singer by night, 'woke' up Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson with her 'outgoing' energy. Watch her audition here:

Now, people have shared the footage on Twitter, wondering if the woman from Alta Loma, California, was really just a young Taylor Green.
One user shared the video with the caption: "Marjorie Taylor Greene's try out for the first season of American Idol under a stage name lmao. What a loser."
And the audition is, well, it's a bit of a rollercoaster we won't lie, with Stefanie boldly entering the audition room, saying: "I'm in marketing for cheese. I sell Provolone and mozzarella."
She then proceeds to sing Luke Bryan's Knocking Boots, and in the words of Randy: "Stefanie, you're not a very good singer. I'm sorry. I don't think you're a very good singer."

If that wasn't clear enough, Stefanie, confident as ever says: "I think you're lying through your teeth," which isn't exactly what we'd recommend saying to someone you want to take you to Hollywood but sure.
While Randy reiterates that he's worked with the best singers in the business, we're talking 'Mariah, Whitney, Aretha, Celine,' Stefanie isn't having it.
Despite getting a resounding 'no' from all of the judges, the determined contestant stormed back in, to which Simon hilariously said: "Do you have a twin?"

Turns out she didn't, but Stefanie was 'just curious if I did make it if I'm coming to Hollywood because I think I have what it takes.'
They again said 'no' and while the judges seemed pretty certain that she wasn't becoming a famous singer anytime soon, Twitter users think the contestant might've gone into politics instead.
Noting her uncanny resemblance to the politician, one user wrote: "Is this Marjorie Taylor Greene trying out for American Idol?!? OMG!"

Another said, "Is this rejection her super villain origin story?"
Still, others were unimpressed with the comparison, saying that it wasn't Taylor Green: "Is this Marjorie Taylor Greene trying out for American Idol?!? OMG!"
It should also be noted that Marjorie would've been 27 in 2002, making her over the 24 cut-off age for the show - so, yeah, it's likely not her.
