What would you do if you won a lottery jackpot which was worth more than Taylor Swift's net worth?
Well, one lucky Powerball lottery ticket holder doesn't have to imagine anymore after they hit the jackpot in the Oregon Lottery on Saturday (April 6).
It's an excessive amount of money, no one needs over $1 billion in the bank really do they?

No one apart from Taylor Swift apparently, who certainly used a fair sum of her cash to produce 138 tons of CO2 emissions to go and visit boyfriend Travis Kelce.
The 'Blank Space' singer joined Forbes' billionaires list last week with a net worth of $1.1 billion and her position could've been at risk of being overtaken by the Oregon lottery ticket holder who got lucky in Saturday's lottery draw - a person coming forward with the alleged winning ticket to claim the whopping $1.326 billion on Monday (April 8).
However, whether the alleged winner takes home the lump sum option of $621 million or decides to receive payments on a monthly basis over 30 years, Swift can Shake Off the competition because either way the lottery ticket holder won't receive the total $1.3 billion at least all at once.

Although, whether it's $621 million or $1.3 billion over 30 years, the lottery winner definitely won't be shedding any tears about not actually holding as much of a net worth at one time as Swift does.
The prize money will be subject to Oregon state and federal taxes too, but either way, it's a huge win and will set the winner up for life - if not multiple lifetimes.
The drawing for Saturday night's lottery was initially delayed as after it experienced technical difficulties, according to ABC 7 Chicago.

As a result the winning numbers weren't actually drawn until later on, with a ticket holder coming forward on Monday to claim the price. They haven't been named and are currently being vetted.
Lottery Director Mike Wells said: "This is an unprecedented jackpot win for Oregon Lottery.
"We’re taking every precaution to verify the winner before awarding the prize money."

The ticket is reported by Oregon Lottery as having been sold at the Plaid Pantry at 6060 NE Columbia Boulevard in Portland.
The store is also said to be set to receive a cool $100,000 for selling the winning ticket.
Plaid Pantry President and CEO Jonathan Polonsky said: "Plaid Pantry is thrilled to learn that one of our 104 Oregon stores sold the $1.3 billion dollar Powerball ticket.
"This store is one of our newest and most loved stores. Proceeds from the Oregon Lottery fund many programs that benefit everyone in the state, and we’ve been a proud partner with the Oregon Lottery since the very beginning. Congratulations to our lucky customer from our over 700 Plaid associates!"

Oh and according to the lottery company, Plaid Pantry has sold other large Oregon lottery jackpot prizes including a $3.3 million Megabucks jackpot just last summer - so maybe it's worth a visit?
