Between Donald Trump, Kanye West and Vermin Love Supreme (an American performer who wore a boot on his head), the USA has had no shortage of bonkers presidential candidates in the past.
And by the sound of it, one of YouTube’s most famous streamers could soon be added to that list.
In a recent interview, MrBeast spoke candidly about running for president in the future and made some pretty interesting points while he was at it.

Sitting down with fellow Tubers the Tiny Meat Gang last month, MrBeast said he’d be up for trying to ‘fix’ some of the USA’s issues. Check out what he had to say below:
Of a possible run, the 24-year-old said: “Yeah, maybe in like, 20 years, we’ll see.”
The megastar streamer added: “I wanna try to make a ton of money and then just give it all away right before I announce my campaign.

“Imagine I have 10 billion dollars and I just give it all away, and I’m just like, ‘I can’t be bought.’ I had it all. Give it all away. That’s pretty powerful.”
MrBeast went on: “And then, instead of giving in to lobbyists or agendas, I just like, do whatever’s good for the American people. Sounds like it’d be a good idea.”
Doubling down on the idea of running for president, he said: “I think I could, to be honest.
“I think when I’m 40. Because I do think presidents are just getting way too f**king old. Especially by then, a lot of the older people in America will die out and there will be more people around our age. I think we’re due for younger presidents.”

Beneath a clip of MrBeast speaking about becoming America’s president, people were quick to leave amusing comments, with one person saying: “Imagine Mr Beast in charge of the federal budget 'Screw it, spend it all. We’ll make it back on the next video'."
Another person added: “Imagine in WW3 and MrBeast is the President: ‘First to Capture Moscow gets 100 Million Dollars!’.”

The streamer’s remarks echo comments he made a month earlier when speaking to comedians Andrew Schulz and Akaash Singh on their Flagrant podcast.
MrBeast said in September: “If I had literally zero dollars in my bank account and I was like 'vote for me,' I feel like that's a pretty good campaign thing, like, you're voting for me," he said.
He continued: "I think I could make it interesting enough where I could win," adding, "I know how to get people's attention."
