There are seemingly countless headlines out there about people who have ditched their regular nine-to-five job to do OnlyFans full-time.
Some are pulling in hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands of dollars every month.
It's mind blowing how much money can be made on the platform.

The sheer number of articles that have charted a person's journey to success makes it seem like it would be super easy to replicate.
However, an OnlyFans model has hit back at the assumption that this line of work is as simple as taking a racy picture and posting it only.
Laura Lux pulls in around $30,000 per month from the platform and has issued a warning about people who are thinking of giving everything up to pursue a career in OnlyFans.
Before she joined the platform, she was a stripper and remarked in an essay to Insider about how she was sexualized from an early age.

She said she 'might as well turn that into something that allows me to live a fun, financially secure life'.
She eventually signed up to OnlyFans in 2018, which was before there was a massive influx of content creators.
Laura says she doesn't do anything hardcore, but she will post daily and if users want something a little spicier then they'll have to pay for it.
She says she has a nine-to-five routine where she will sit at a desk and go through a lot of messages, admin and planning.

"I'll usually post a message to subscribers in the morning — something like 'What's your plan for the week?' or 'Hope everyone has a great Monday!' then I'll spend some time chatting with whoever replies," she wrote for Insider.
"Then I take some photos or edit some content and keep an eye on my inbox."
She has a lot of conversations with her subscribers and that can take up a big portion of her day.
Ms Lux has more than two million followers on Instagram and she partially credits this to helping her earn so much on OnlyFans.

"If you're thinking about starting an OnlyFans account, I would really consider what the consequences would be for your future," she said.
"Online sex work gets glamorized as easy money, when it's really not. It's hard work to make money on OnlyFans.
"The market is super oversaturated, and the reason I'm so successful is because I already had a following from MySpace, then Instagram and Patreon...I wasn't starting from scratch."
She's also warned wannabe OnlyFans stars that whatever they post will likely exist forever and they will have to be at peace with that.

"So if you're not sure you want explicit photos and videos of yourself to be out there, don't do it," she said.
"It's not likely you'll make a lot of money, despite what some creators may tell you.
"A lot of what it takes to be successful on OnlyFans is about being active on social media, and that means dealing with people calling you degrading names for engaging in sex work."
