An OnlyFans creator from Singapore has been jailed and fined after posting adult content on the platform, with his lawyer saying the move shows the government will 'not tolerate' those sharing content on the site.
Titus Low, 22, pleaded guilty to two charges: one count of transmitting obscene material by electronic means, and another for breaching a police order barring him from accessing his OnlyFans account.
Appearing in court he was fined S$3,000 (£2,700/$2,087) and sentenced to three weeks in prison, which he will start to serve later this month.

In a post on Twitter, Low said he ‘glad this is finally over’, adding: “Mistakes were made. Part of life's learning process, I guess?”
Transmission of obscene material electronically is illegal in Singapore with those convicted facing up to three months in prison, a fine, or - as in this case - both.
Low was arrested in December last year but was released on bail under the condition that he stayed off the platform.

However, in court this week, prosecutors said Low had breached the order numerous times and ‘undermined police investigations to advance his financial interests’.
Low admitted that he hadn’t complied with his bail conditions but said he had felt ‘obligated’ to go back onto the site to post content to his subscribers.
Low’s lawyer Kirpal Singh said the case will set a precedent for Singapore residents who want to share sexually explicit content on OnlyFans.
He told AFP: “Since they have taken action against Mr Titus Low, the government seems to have taken the stance that it does not tolerate the sharing of obscene materials on the OF platform.

“For other OF creators, this will be a question for them to undertake on their own, especially so in light of what has transpired in Titus' case.”
Low opened his OnlyFans account in April last year and pulled in 6,000 subscribers in six months.
Speaking to CNN on Wednesday (October 12) Low said he was ‘prepared’ to go to jail and that he will spend his time inside meditating and reading.

He also refused to rule out a return to OnlyFans, telling the outlet: “It wouldn’t be fair if the ban stayed. I love what I do and it’s what I’m known for. My nudes are out there already.
“But that is also the nature of OnlyFans. Creators have little control over our material being leaked or recirculated without our knowledge and that is not something I can control, but I will definitely be more careful going forward.”
