Russia has outlined some of its own demands when it comes to a potential ceasefire with Ukraine.
The Russia-Ukraine conflict has been at the forefront of the news of late amid America's bid to try help the two countries end the war, which began over three years ago.
While tensions between Ukraine and Russia dates back years, the current conflict began in February 2022 after Vladimir Putin ordered his troops to storm the neighboring country.

Three years later and the fighting is still going on, with both countries having recently issued devastating drone strikes on one another.
Now, after America and Ukraine recently held successful negotiations in Saudi Arabia that saw Ukrainian officials agree to a potential 30-day ceasefire with Russia, Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov has shared Russia's thoughts on the matter.
"Nobody is talking to us," claimed Lavrov. "They keep saying, ‘nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine,’ but they do everything about Russia without Russia."

He also addressed people's 'peacekeepers obsession' and stated that they will not allow foreign troops on Ukrainian soil.
"The presence of the troops from NATO countries, under any flag, under any capacity, on Ukrainian soil is the same threat," Lavrov said.
He went on to confirm that Russia won't accept such troops 'under any conditions'.
The foreign secretary went on to question: "Why should we give consent to the peacekeeping force?"
He further noted that NATO countries who want to come and supposedly keep the peace have declared Russia the 'enemy'.

Lavrov's comments come after Trump threatened a 'devastating' punishment on Russia should they not agree to a ceasefire.
"Hopefully we can get a ceasefire from Russia," said the POTUS. " And if we do, I think that would be 80 percent of the way to getting this horrible bloodbath that is — it’s a bloodbath is taking place over there."
Trump went on threaten should Russia not work with America and Ukraine to restore peace: "We could do things very bad for Russia. Would be devastating for Russia. But I don’t want to do that because I want to see peace."

Reportedly American officials are heading to Russia for themselves to discuss such matters. BBC News reported that Special Envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in the country today (March 13).
He is supposedly there to try to convince Russia to accept the 30-day ceasefire that Ukraine has already agreed to.
Witkoff joined US Secretary of State Marco Rubio earlier this week in Saudi Arabia to negotiate the topic with Ukrainian officials.
