The mother of Reeva Steenkamp has issued a warning to Oscar Pistorius’ new girlfriend 11 years after the former Paralympian murdered her daughter.
The 38-year-old became the first double amputee to run in the Olympics in summer 2012, but just six months later, in early 2013, he shot his girlfriend Reeva multiple times through a toilet door in his house.
Pistorius later claimed he mistook Reeva for an intruder in his South African home, but was convicted of murder in 2015 after a court overturned a previous conviction of culpable homicide.

South African law states all offenders can be considered for parole once they have served half of their sentence.
Pistorius was ultimately granted this and was released earlier this year after 13 years and five months behind bars.
He is under strict conditions until the end of the sentence that runs until 2029, unable to drink alcohol, speak to the media, and is restricted to stay at home during certain times of the day.

Despite that, Pistorius is back on the dating scene and has been seeing 33-year-old Rita Greyling, according to reports.
Reeva's mom, June, has been speaking to the Sun newspaper following the reports, and has issued a warning to Pistorius new lover.
"I don’t understand how she doesn’t see a red flag about him because he has not lost his temper problem," she said.

"He was supposed to be under anger management when he was in jail and at one stage I stopped him coming out because I was annoyed that he wasn’t having treatment.
“He was angry - and he still has a problem with anger. He’s still a danger to women. Reeva only knew him for three months and she was dead and he’s never confessed."
June added: "It’s not painful for me that he’s with this young woman - I’m just worried about her.

“Our foundation is about the abuse of women and children and it’s out of control in this country.”
After losing her daughter over a decade ago, June set up Reeva Steenkamp Foundation Against The Abuse of Women and Children, which provides support for victims and their families.
After Pistorius was released in January, June issued a statement questioning whether justice had been served for Reeva.
She said: "Has there been justice for Reeva? Has Oscar served enough time? There can never be justice if your loved one is never coming back, and no amount of time served will bring Reeva back. We, who remain behind, are the ones serving a life sentence."
