Republican Senator Ted Cruz has mocked gender pronouns by telling a crowd his preferred pronouns are ‘kiss my a**’.
While speaking at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida, the Texan politician said: “I talked to a student recently at one of our woke college campuses who said she is required in every class to introduce herself and to give her pronouns.”
He then went on to say: “Well, my name is Ted Cruz and my pronoun is ‘kiss my a**'."

The crowd went unsurprisingly wild at the statement.
The video captured is now circulating on Twitter, which has resulted in a barrage of criticism against the Senator.
One person wrote: “Breaking news: thousands cheer for a 51-year-old multimillionaire for being anti-elementary level grammar skills.”
While another commented: “‘Well, I'm Ted Cruz, and my pronoun is kiss my a**’. No, Ted, you syphilitic chode, if anything your pronoun is ‘a** kisser’. As in, ‘Donald Trump called my wife ugly and I'm still kissing his a** every chance I get. Because I'm an a** kisser’.”

While another said: “These are the jokes your uncle’s favourite comedian makes.”
Newsweek reports that while speaking about gender identity at the summit, Cruz also said: "The more crazy they get, every time they do something ridiculous, part of me weeps but part of me celebrates.
"Because it is accelerating the country coming back, it is opening eyes. I promise all of y'all on campuses across the country—your classmates, even if they are scared to say it, are looking around thinking 'this stuff is nuts.'"
Wow, for a second there, I thought he was talking about the country's unrestricted gun laws, but nope! Once again, Cruz has taken this opportunity to deflect from his own atrocities.

The 'politician' has historically never supported the LGBTQI+ community.
Following Disney’s comments opposing the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, the 51-year-old condemned the company on its stance, saying: "I think there are people who are misguided, trying to drive, you know, Disney stepping in, saying, you know, in every episode now they’re gonna have, you know, Mickey and Pluto going at it. Like, really?
"It’s just like, come on guys, these are kids, and you know, you could always shift to Cinemax if you want that.”

He also called the US Supreme Court's decision to allow same-sex marriage as 'wrong'.
On 26 June, 2015, in the case of Obergefell v Hodges, the US Supreme Court ruled - in a vote of five to four - for same-sex couples to be given the constitutional right to marry under the 14th Amendment.
Cruz believes the piece of legislation should fall like Roe v Wade.
"Marriage was always an issue that was left to the states," he said on his YouTube channel.

"We saw states before Obergefell—some states were moving to allow gay marriage, other states were moving to allow civil partnerships. There were different standards that the states were adopting.
