The viral video, which was shared on Monday (1 May), shows the woman - whose relation to the baby is currently unknown - trying desperately to get back on her feet after falling down by her parked car in Hesperia, California.
In her attempts to race after the stroller, she trips onto the floor and as the stroller appears to be just a few feet from the cars on the highway, a man rushes in and saves the baby in the nick of time.
The hero was later identified as Ron Nessman, who was in the area for a job interview.

He had been homeless for several years and just started living with his sister, Donna Gunderson, who told NBCLA that her ‘heart dropped’ when she saw the video.
“I knew I could get it and I got it,” the hero told the local news station.
“And I’m thankful for that because I really wouldn’t want to see the end result if I wasn’t there,” he said.
“She tried everything she possibly could to get up,” Nessman said of the woman who injured her knees in her falls.

“Her knees were bleeding when I got up to her she was still shocked and she was crying.”
Another good samaritan can be seen helping the woman in the parking lot.
Speaking to KTLA 5, Nessman said: “I noticed the stroller was going towards the traffic and I instinctively ran towards the stroller and dived before it went into the traffic and there was a child inside the stroller.
