A groom fell for a radio station's trap to test whether he was cheating just months before his wedding.
A soon-to-be bride called Jen rung up radio station Channel 955 Detroit in Michigan, US, after her fiancé called off their wedding just a couple of months before it was set to take place.
Prepare to feel like you could cut the tension with a knife:
A clip of the show shared to TikTok by the station sees a presenter claim her fiance said: "I can't do this. I'm calling it off." And with that, he left Jen.

Jen confided in Channel 955 Detroit: "If he was dropping hints, I was not picking them up and I just don't understand how he could get cold fee now because he's had time to think about this.
"He proposed after three-and-a-half years of dating, we've been engaged for over two years. It's not a new concept, it's not like we met six months ago."
And so the radio station decided to find out if there was 'cheating involved' in the fiancé's decision to call off the wedding or whether he was just having 'a little bit of a breakdown'.
So, they called he fiancé up and offered him a free dozen of roses to test where - and more importantly - who he'd send them too, Jen adding she wanted to figure out 'where' he is and 'find him' but if he was with another girl she'd be at a loss for words.

Channel 955 Detroit then told her to mute her phone and rang up her fiancé.
The team called up, posing as an online floral company called Roses Bloom, offering him free flowers in return for two survey questions.
He agreed and answered the first question noting he'd not bought flowers in the last six months, but 'certainly will be thinking about' purchasing flowers in the upcoming half a year - amber flag number one.

The radio station then asked who he wanted to send his flowers to and he said their name - and this is where the red flag is firmly erected and waving loudly in the sky as it was not his fiancée's, but someone called Ally.
After being asked what his 'relationship' to Ally was, he stammered but resolved: "Girlfriend."
He - unsurprisingly - wasn't too happy about the call being 'recorded for quality and training purposes' but agreed anyway, later finding out Jen had been listening in the whole time after a presenter informed him as to what had actually been going on.
His response? Not an apology, or call out to Jen, but simply: "What is this?"

And it's not taken long for people to flood to social media to weigh in.
One TikToker said: "The way my heart broke for his fiancés."
"Man. Jen, hear me out I know it hurts but you're better off," another wrote.

A third commented: "How do people still get caught with these. Doesn't everyone know about WOR (War of Roses)?"
And a fourth noted: "1st red flag of him is that he actually thought this was legit and then gives out the GFs info. Not the brightest bulb in the knife drawer!!!"
