First dates can be stomach-churning scenarios as we try our very hardest to make a great first impression.
While most of us have respect for our potential new flame, not everyone takes dates so seriously.
So much so, one woman, later named as Alicia, went viral after refusing to get out the car for a very minor reason.

A clip of the saga was re-shared to TikTok and has been viewed more than eight million times.
Alicia can be seen sitting in the passenger seat of a car on a first date with a man called Jay.
But when she and pull up outside of The Cheesecake Factory, she says it is ‘embarrassing’ and refuses to get out.

Her date can be heard saying in the background that he would get out of the vehicle and come around to open her door, but as soon as he leaves, she decides she's not having any of it.
She goes as far as to lock the door so that he couldn’t get back inside, and shakes her head and finger at him from inside the car.
The woman then winds down the window and says: “This is The Cheesecake Factory. This is a chain restaurant. Who takes someone that looks like this to a chain restaurant?”
Jay then reveals they were never meant to be going to The Cheesecake Factory, but because Alicia was apparently an hour late getting ready for the date, the reservation ran over.
Alicia then interrupted him, saying: “Isn't there another restaurant you can call that is equivalent to that? You don't understand - look at me. I cannot go into The Cheesecake Factory. I will die, that's embarrassing.”

Jay ended the conversation by adding: “Maybe we are not right for each other so respectfully I'm going to just drop you off at home.”
Not impressed by that suggestion, Alicia addresses the camera and asks: "Ladies can you believe this?"
Though she didn't appear to get the support she'd expected in the comments section.
One said: “She couldn’t even respect his time, and he was respectful, had an itinerary, was on time, AND STILL had this conversation with her… sir come get me!”

Another commented: "He's right for doing that. He communicated properly, was respectful, and knows his worth. I also love The Cheesecake Factory."
The pair have since reunited to discuss the incident on The Truth Factory with Kevin Welsey.
Alicia said she refused to get out the car because 'a queen doesn't do that'.

She added: "I felt like [he] didn't see my value. In that moment, I felt like I needed the support of my viewers in that moment."
But she realized the error of her ways, adding: "I wasn't really taking [Jay's] feelings into consideration, I wasn't trying to be necessarily malicious or anything."
