A baseball fan was tased after he ran onto the field of play and interrupted proceedings.
We all love a bit of sport don't we, but some folks do get awfully excited while watching it.
And while some people will say it's just fans trying to cause trouble, we do sometimes see folks interrupting play.

On Tuesday (11 June) night, a fan ran onto the field of play during the ninth inning of a game between the Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Guardians. Check it out:
Footage of said incident has gone viral on social media from the perspective of another fan in the stadium.
The fan, wearing a throwback Johnny Bench, ran onto the outfield to cause a bit of a nuisance.

He appeared to say something to Guardians outfielder Tyler Freeman and then did a backflip in front of chasing police.
I mean, the flip is pretty impressive - particularly considering the fan has done so right in front of a fan.
As the crowd applauded a hugely impressive move, a second security guard entered the field of play.

But before the man had the opportunity to escape for freedom, a security guard pulled out a taster gun and fired away.
The fan was ultimately stopped cold and fell to the ground.
As per the Cincinnati Enquirer, a criminal complaint filed in Hamilton Municipal Court identified the fan as 19-year-old William Hendon of Cleves, Ohio.
The fan now faces a felony criminal trespass charge as well as obstructing official business and a misdemeanor.

And that was the end of the pith invasion.

"Did he really have to use his taser on a 15 year old boy, lowkey embarrassing," a second added, while a third remarked: "Tasing currently under consideration for pitch clock violations and balks in 2025 by MLB."
The comments didn't stop there though, as another MBL fan penned: "This is too far. If it’s a dodgers fan you go lethal but all other fans this is too much."
As for the sporting proceedings on the field of play, The Guardians went on to win 5-3.
Their latest victory stretched their lead in the AL Central to five games.
