Don King has spoken out after Mike Tyson expressed worries over the iconic promoter's health.
Tyson had a pretty remarkable professional boxing career, there's no doubt about that. And while a lot of that comes down to natural talent, his promoter, King, played a huge role in making all of those fights happen.
Tyson opened up on King's health recently on the It Is What It Is podcast, with the former heavyweight champion claiming King was 'not doing well right now'.

He added context to the claims, suggesting King is 'probably close to 100 years old'.
King celebrated his 93rd birthday last month.
The American boxing promoter has since released a statement to assure fans he's doing well.
DK Productions, King's company, told WBN: “Hall of Fame boxing promoter Don King wanted to let all his friends and boxing fans know that he is doing fine at his home in Palm Beach County.

"King is working with the WBC and Three Lions Promotions to get a new date for the WBC World Cruiserweight title match between Noel Mikaelian and Ryan Rozicki."
King even referred to Tyson in the statement with a heartfelt message, as he quipped: "Tell everyone I am doing fine and I love Mike Tyson."
King has arguably organised some of the biggest boxing bouts ever, including representing the likes of Tyson, Muhammad Ali, George Foreman, and Joe Frazier.

Tyson himself has been through the wars as of late, having to pull out of his Netflix fight with Jake Paul earlier this year.
The streamer said in a statement at the time: "Unfortunately Jake Paul and Mike Tyson will not face-off on July 20 as planned.
"Tyson’s recent ulcer flare up has limited his ability to train fully for the next few weeks.

"The fight will be rescheduled for a date later this year after Mike’s able to resume training with no limitations and both fighters can have equal time to prepare for this once-in-a-lifetime matchup!"
The boxing legend later took to Twitter to state he was feeling '100 percent' again, adding: "Even though I don't need to be to beat Jake Paul."
Tyson thanked fans in a statement for their support and explained he'd been advised to 'lighten' his training 'for a few weeks to rest and recover'.
The fight is now set to take place on 15 November at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
