We all remember that breakdancing moment from the Olympics that went viral for all the wrong reasons.
Australian breakdancer Raygun’s loss at the 2024 Paris Olympics is still being mocked online, with many questioning how she qualified to make it to the Games in the first place.
Raygun - real name Rachael Gunn - has been shunned after her recent blunder and became the butt of many jokes, as she scored a 0.0 in the competition.

However, what we haven’t seen yet is the comparison of someone breakdancing alongside her Olympic choreography which really puts it into perspective of just how far from the mark she had reached.
Although social media loves nothing more than to watch people fail, people have banded together to shine a light on some true breakdancers who showcased incredible talent, despite one of them having one less limb than the Aussie.
That’s right, we’re talking about the Paralympian group who took over Paris 2024 with their incredible breaking performance.

The group, which comprised of men sporting crutches, took to the center to show off how breaking should really be done.
Of course, the internet loved the side-by-side comparison of their performance compared to Raygun’s blunder, as one person wrote: “Brings a new meaning to the phrase ‘yes I can beat her standing on one leg’.”
Another accused the Aussie of scamming the competition via her husband: “Because she and her husband rigged the competition and froze out all the real breakdancers so she could get a free trip to Paris and do a r******d rendition of interpretive dance.”

Someone else wrote that it could have been a great prank: “Raygun would be a female Ali G trolling at an olympic level if she wasn't serious.”
One person had their own idea of why Raygun was so bad: “I still maintain that she was a stagehand that wandered out and got attacked by bees.”
The two videos certainly show off two different skill sets, with one of the Paralympic dancers being able to do flips and difficult contortions while the Aussie was sliding along the floor and making various gestures.
Since the viral moment, the Olympic committee decided to completely scrap breaking from their competition entirely, with the Paralympics following suit.

While there were some good formers, perhaps the 0 scorer made them take a closer look.
However, the Aussie wasn’t silent about her feelings on the matter and wrote online: “It was disappointing it was decided that it wouldn’t be in L.A., particularly before we even had a chance to show it.

"That was possibly a little premature. I wonder if they’re kicking themselves now? What is an Olympic sport? What are the similarities between dressage and artistic swimming and the 100m sprint and the pentathlon?
"Breaking is clearly athletic, it clearly requires a whole level of dedication across a number of different aspects. It’s really bringing a new level of excitement."
Mmm, we’ll have to wait until 2028 to find out if they’ll re-establish the breaking category.
