We all know that Simone Biles has an astonishing amount of talent, something which the gymnastics star has shown since she was a kid.
Biles is one of the most decorated gymnasts in Olympic history and achieved four medals at Paris 2024 alone.
To date, the 27-year-old athlete has 11 Olympic medals under her belt.

Biles started gymnastics at the age of six but by the time London 2012 came around, she was too young to qualify.
She was able to compete at Rio 2016, however, with Biles going on to make her Olympic debut that year, and it's safe to say she caused quite a stir.
Fast forward to 2024 and she's one of the most successful (and famous) gymnasts there's ever been.

Biles is known for her grit when it comes to the sport and often only strives for perfection - and this is a trait she's demonstrated since she was young.
In a resurfaced video of a then-young Biles, the budding gymnast performs a vault but fails to stick the landing.
Evidently disgruntled over her fall, Biles marches off looking understandably disappointed and crosses her arms.
Her coach then appears to console her, but the future Olympian still didn't look happy.

Responding to the clip, people have praised Biles for her dedication.

"It's dedication and love with passion the sports," one person wrote on X. Meanwhile a second hailed the young Biles as a 'legend in the making'.
"She didn’t give up," applauded someone else, as a different person wrote: "That is the reaction of a little girl with a BIG DREAM."
"A perfect example of the power of being deeply humbled," praised another. "Being overconfident and learning to embrace those pains leads to mastery in ways a lack of being humbled cannot. Absolutely inspiring."
Clips from what appears to be the same competition were used in Biles' new Netflix documentary, Simone Biles Rising.

The second episode of the series looks back on the Olympian's childhood and shows her as a young star performing gymnastics.
"I'll never forget where I came from and how it shaped me into the person that I am today," Biles says in the documentary. "I always knew that I wanted to break boundaries and statistics."
She goes on to say of her upbringing: "Whenever you're in foster care, you come out of it [and] the odds are against you. So for me I was always that kid that if someone told me I couldn't do something, I would."
The first two episodes of Simone Biles Rising are currently streaming on Netflix. Part two is expected to be released some time this fall.
