Disney+ host and The Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ Stephen 'tWitch' Boss has tragically passed away aged 40.
His wife Allison Holker Boss confirmed the news in a statement shared with People.
"It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us," she said.
"Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else and leading with love and light was everything to him.
"He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.
"To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt.
"I am certain there won't be a day that goes by that we won't honor his memory.
"We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children."
The 34-year-old finished by saying: "Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you."
Stephen and Allison had three children together – Weslie, 14, Maddox, six, and Zaia, three.
Although there's speculation as to the cause of death, this is yet to be confirmed.
The late star first joined DeGeneres' chat show as a DJ in 2014 before being promoted to executive producer in 2020, which he did until the show wrapped up this year.
But his claim to fame was through dancing when he became the runner-up in the 2008 season of the reality competition show So You Think You Can Dance.
Tributes continue to pour in for Stephen from his heartbroken friends, with DJ Pauly D writing on Twitter: "Damn this is sad news. Sending prayers to Stephen "tWitch" Boss's family and friends... RIP TWITCH."
Elsewhere, actor and singer Eric West said: "RIP Stephen 'tWitch' Boss... He was a bright energy! Full of life."
Actress and comedian Marsha Warfield added: "WHAT?!?! Oh, no! I remember seeing him at the beginning of his season on So You Think You Can Dance.
"I watched him and Allison start a relationship on the show... My condolences to all who loved him."
There's also been an outpouring from the fans, including this person who said: "Very few celebs cause me to be emotional at their passing and not for any particular reason.
"However, the news of Stephen 'Twitch' Boss has knocked the wind out of me. I am shocked & devastated for his family. I am sorry."
Another wrote: "So Sorry to hear this I will pray for his friends and family."
