Johnny Knoxville aside, Steve-O is the most famous of the Jackass gang and reportedly sits on an eye-watering net worth of $4 million.
That’s right, the daredevil - whose real name is Stephen Glover - has earned a millions-high mountain of cash by puking up a goldfish, letting leeches suck on his eyeballs and getting hit in the nuts. Repeatedly.
But, as it turns out, Steve-O doesn’t actually do that well on the royalties front, as he explained in a new interview.

Speaking on his Wild Ride! podcast, Steve-O said that he and his Jackass co-stars get a ‘little slither of back end participation’ from Netflix because their movies are available to watch on the streaming platform.
He added: “When the movie makes money we get a little taste. A little sniff.
“I mean, with the older movies it’s almost like… It’s not like a ‘funny’ small amounts of money but it’s not like ‘WOW’.”

However, the same can’t be said for re-runs of the TV show.
Steve-O continued: “That’s [the show] a different deal. For the TV show it was just like ‘yeah, you’re a b***h. We’re going to put you on TV, you get nothing.’ You know…”
The star didn’t specify what he means by ‘nothing’, but judging by the whole ‘b***h’ part, we’re guessing the Jackass bunch don’t make much on re-runs of the MTV show either.
Last month, the star opened up about the one stunt he absolutely refused to do for the first Jackass movie.

Speaking to Yahoo, he revealed the stunt in question was the 'Toy Car Up the Butt' stunt, which the late Ryan Dunn ended up doing.
Dunn shoved a condom containing a toy car up his own bum and then went to hospital for an X-Ray.
Steve-O reckons Dunn stepping up to the plate worked out well and called the moment 'the most iconic, incredible thing we ever filmed’.

In recent weeks, the 48-year-old has also spoken candidly about middle age and his fear of getting old.
He told The Guardian in September: “I’m in a terrible situation … I’m Steve-O in my 40s.”
He added: “We shove old people in nursing homes because we don’t want to think about our own mortality.
“When you get old, people don’t want to see you. So if, like me, you have this overdeveloped need for attention – and that’s putting it mildly – then the idea of people no longer looking at you is scary.”

Steve-O also confessed that he’s currently in the midst of a ‘midlife crisis on steroids’, which is a very Steve-O way of talking about experiencing inner turmoil.
