Supernatural star Nicki Aycox has sadly died at the age of 47.
The actress' sister-in-law Susan Raab Ceklosky took to Facebook to confirm the tragic news in a heartfelt post.
She wrote: "My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side.

"Nicki and Matt had a wonderful life together in California. She was definitely a fighter and everyone who knew her loved her."
Alongside the text, Ceklosky shared photos of Aycox with her husband and their two children.
The star – who played Meg Masters in the fantasy drama series – passed away on Thursday, November 16, after having been diagnosed with leukemia in 2020.

She had been bravely sharing her medical journey on her Instagram page where she kept followers updated on getting chemo, surgery and maintaining a positive attitude.
Aycox initially announced the news in March 2021, writing: "Sorry 4 time away, I can’t believe my last 3 months. But, it makes sense now.
"I became very ill thinking I had covid in Jan and Feb. Well things came to a head. I ended up in a hospital diagnosed with Lukemeia."

Friends and co-workers have since shared their tributes to Aycox following her passing, including Supernatural creator Eric Kripke.
Taking to Twitter, he wrote: "Gutted to hear the great #NickiAycox, our first #MegMasters, passed away. Too young.

"She was a delight & delivered lines like honey & venom. I marvel at how she made a simple word like ‘lackluster’ legendary."
Co-star Jim Beaver added: "My first Supernatural episode was with Nicki.
"She was a terrific actress and a delightful colleague. I'm so sad to hear of her death. Sleep well, my friend."

Fellow actress Samantha Ferris wrote: "Sad news for the Supernatural family.
"It appears Nicki Aycox (Meg Masters) has moved on to the next dimension. She was the original SPN badass.
"Safe travels, Nicki. I hear the next stop is fabulous. See you there.|
The fans were similarly heartbroken, with one writing: "It's a sad day in the #Supernatural world.
"Today we lost Nicki Aycox, the original Meg Masters. R.I.P. Nicki."
Alongside her turn in Supernatural, Aycox had taken on a variety of roles throughout her acting career including Dark Angel, Jeepers Creepers 2 and Providence.
