The family of a Taylor Swift fan who was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries after a crash as they drove to her concert have given an update on her recovery.
10-year-old Freya Pokarier was airlifted to Westmead Children's Hospital in Sydney with serious injuries after she and her family were involved in a car crash as they drove to a Taylor Swift concert in Melbourne on February 15.

Freya’s sister, 16-year-old Mieka Pokarier, was tragically killed in the crash and her mother was also taken to hospital with critical injuries.
Their car collided with a semi trailer near Dubbo in the incident that ruined a day that was meant to be filled with music and memorable moments.
Following the crash, Freya’s godmother, Karleigh Fox, set up a GoFundMe page as they tried to raise money after the tragedy.
Last week, the family gave an update on Freya’s recovery, as well detailing the seriousness of her injuries.

Freya suffered brain injuries, a broken leg and a damaged pelvis in the crash and remains in a coma.
In a March 7 update, her mother indicated while Freya hasn’t yet opened her eyes, she is showing 'positive signs'.
“Freya has moved out of intensive care and on to a ward dedicated to rehabilitation in neuro/ortho ward,” the update said.

“We are yet to see her beautiful eyes open, however, she has shown some really positive signs that she may be hearing her loved ones,
“She moves her left arm a lot and brings it up to her face now. She has sighed, yawned and hiccupped and this morning she moved her head side to side!!
"She’s currently peacefully snoring as we type this, even though she used to argue with Mum that she didn’t."

The update continued: “On Saturday Freya even got the opportunity to go outside and seemed to love the wind blowing in her face.
“At the moment it’s one day at a time, and any movements (as you can imagine) are exciting and bring hopes of progress!”
According to Daily Mail Australia, Swift later learned of the tragic ordeal, though she is yet to speak out publicly.
At the time of writing, the GoFundMe page has so far raised $87,700 and is on its way to its goal of $100,000.
