These days, there aren’t a lot of good Samaritan deed committed that are newsworthy, but this is one of the few that is worthwhile.

Imagine this: You’re at work and it’s a normal day. Maybe you do something that’s in your nature and suddenly, you’re rich.

That would be pretty cool, I can’t lie.

This is exactly what happened to an unsuspecting driver in Bali who garnered fans across the globe for one small act of kindness.

In a TikTok clip that has almost two million views, it shows a driver becoming an overnight ‘millionaire’ after finding a lost phone.

A tourist, Archie, lost his mobile phone on Canggu Beach and was in desperate need of it back.

So, he set a reward for IDR 2 million and asked GoJek scooter drivers to help with the search.

Archie captioned the video: “Scooter driver becomes 'millionaire' after finding tourist's lost phone and collecting reward.”

The overlay on the video was: "When you lose your phone on Canggu Beach so set a $2 million reward for the drivers."

TikTok commenters praised Archie and the driver.

In this heartwarming exchange, the drivers banded together in the middle of the night to hunt for the phone and when one of the men finds it, Archie keeps true to his word about a cash reward and hands the man 20 Rp100,000 note (Indonesian Rupiah), which is around US $120.

It wasn’t long before commenters flowed the video with praise and support for Archie and the driver, loving how much they were all truly happy to have found the phone.

One person wrote: "It may be cheap for you, but man thank you, you just made someone's day. That was a lot for US Indonesians."

Another penned: "I actually love them, like they're so happy for him to receive the money there's no jealousy or hatred. that money's going to help him soooo much."

A third person chimed: "I don't know why, but I'm so happy for them."

Someone else joked: “Elite use of Gojek. Congrats to the winner!”

Archie was also likened to MrBeast, who is known for changing the lives of ordinary people through acts of kindness or challenges.
