If you thought a nude cruise ship would be lawless like the last days of Rome, a former guest explained one of the places clothes are actually required.
2,000 people on a massive cruise ship having the time of their lives. Enjoying the sights, seasons and serenity of the sea.
Oh... and they let it all hang out. Naked as the day they were born.

But just because guests get to enjoy this freedom on the cruise, don’t think there aren’t any rules.
One guest, who said he was 67, took to Reddit to share his experience on the cruises.
The passenger went on a seven day-long $2,500 trip organized by Texas-based company Bare Necessities Tour and Travel, setting sail from Tampa, Florida.

And you can bet the people of Reddit had more than a few questions, and the user - wisecommenter2 - was more than willing to oblige.
He explained that once the ship is out of port the captain 'generally makes an announcement' telling people they can strip off.
Now... that would certainly be a sight. I suppose we don’t really tend to have similar moments like that when you are living your normal life on land, eh.
The poster explained that many people were completely naked while others wore flip-flops and sandals, really keeping in the beach holiday mood.

He did note that there was one place and activity that saw people get dressed up and it made for a bizarre contrast.
A place where there were some people still naked, others dressed fancily, and others where people are a bit in-between.
“When you say dressed up for dinner, do you mean you had to wear clothes for dinner? Or would people just wear their nice shoes and still be naked other than that?” one user asked.

The former nude cruise guest replied: “It depends where you ate Clothes were required in the main dining room and in the specialty restaurants. Many people dressed for night generally, after spending the day nude in the sun.
“So, after 6:00 pm, there was a strange mix of nude, normally dressed, and women dressed in sexy clothes like see through blouses. It was weird to be at a bar and having some people nude and some dressed for a nice evening out. It added to the charm as far I was concerned."
