Twitter Reminisces On Trump's 'Greatest Hits' As Musk Says He Will Undo Ban

Elon Musk says he'll remove Donald Trump's Twitter ban, so here's some of the classics

After Elon Musk announced that he’ll reinstate Donald Trump to Twitter when he officially becomes the social media company’s owner, it seems as if some folks can’t wait to have The Donald back and have been reminiscing about some of his ‘greatest hits’ on the platform.

Trump was suspended after the events surrounding his supporters’ attack on the Capitol Building after his election loss to Joe Biden.

Twitter decided enough was enough, suspending Trump and therefore removing some of the weirdest and wackiest tweets in chequered history of the platform in the process.

Like this take on global warming.

Well, if he wants to come back, he’s now welcome once again, with Musk saying: "Permanent bans should be extremely rare and really reserved for accounts that are bots or spam, scam accounts.

“I do think it was not correct to ban Donald Trump.

"I think that was a mistake because it alienated a large part of the country and did not ultimately result in Donald Trump not having a voice."

He added: "I would reverse the permanent ban. I don't own Twitter yet.

“So this is not like a thing that will definitely happen, because what if I don't own Twitter?"

Then there was whatever this was.

"I think permanent bans just fundamentally undermine trust in Twitter as a town square where everyone can voice their opinion.

“I think it was a morally bad decision [to ban him] and foolish in the extreme."

Anyway, the news that Trump could be headed back has some on Twitter in mischievous mood, with many piping up with some of their favourite quotes from the former president’s time online.

For example, who could forget: “Sorry losers and haters, but my I.Q. is one of the highest - and you all know it!

“Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure, it’s not your fault”

For some reason Trump was really into Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson's relationship.

Or what about: “Every time I speak of the haters and losers I do so with great love and affection. They cannot help the fact that they were born f***ed up!”

That’s before we’ve even arrived at the whole ‘covfefe’ thing.

Others have shared The Donald’s unique take on Robert Pattinson’s relationship with Kristen Stewart, which for some reason he had a lot to say about, and his thoughts on the topless photographs taken of the Duchess of Cambridge that landed a magazine in some serious hot water.

Anyway, this is just a selection of Donald classics, and if Elon holds true to his word, we’ll soon have every single one of Trump’s toilet thoughts once again, beamed straight to us from the gilded throne at Mar a Lago.
