There have been several explosions in the capital of Ukraine, and officials have reported that two people have died.
As Russia's invasion of Ukraine enters its 20th day, the county's capital of Kyiv has been reported as being subject to a series of explosions overnight and in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday, March 15.
Two people have since been reported dead as a result of the explosions.
Early this morning in Borshchagovka, a district in western Kyiv, there were a series of explosions, as per BBC .

Residential buildings are reported as having been hit and set on fire as a result, with air raid sirens ringing out across the city.
In the Svyatoshinsky district, a nine-storey residential building was set alight after being shelled. It is reported that the blaze was put out at 5.36am local time.
As per BBC Breakfast, at least two people are confirmed to have died in a blast at a residential building.

Another 10-storey residential building also saw its first five floors go up in flames.
However, Ukraine's Emergency Services (SES) reported that it was put out at 6.51am local time. No fatalities are reported, although one person is stated as having been rushed to hospital.
Alongside the damage to the residential buildings, the blasts also damaged the capital's Lukyanivska metro station and offices, according to Kyiv's Metro network.
It tweeted: 'Warning! The blast damaged the facade of the Lukyanivska station building and office space. Trains will not stop at the station while running. The station has subsequently been closed.'
Regional state administration noted that between 9.00am and 9.00pm local time that evacuation corridors are still set to be in place.

According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russia and Ukraine are also set to come together today for negotiation talks.
However, a spokesperson for the Kremlin appeared to reject the idea that Russia would settle and agree to a truce with Ukraine, claiming that Putin was set to carry out the 'special military operation' until his plans had been completed 'in full'.
