Hacker group Anonymous compares last two election numbers and people claim 'it doesn't add up'

Millions less people were voting at this US election than in the last one, according to figures collated by the hacking group

'It doesn't feel right', 'something is wrong', 'it stinks', were just a few reactions as Donald Trump became president-elect for the second time.

On January 20, 2025, the US will officially have a 47th president and it'll be a familiar face for those working in the White House, as the nation's 45th president will reclaim the Oval Office.

But conspiracy theories have began peddling the mill already.

Just a matter of hours after the 78-year-old's projected victory was confirmed, hacker group Anonymous has compared the last two election numbers, claiming 'it doesn't add up'.

Taking to Twitter, the group wrote: "Something doesn't add up. In 2020 Biden had 81 Million votes, Trump had 74 Million votes. In 2024 Harris got 66 Million votes, Trump got 71 million votes.

"15 Million Democrats decided to sit this one out? 3 Million MAGA decided to sit this one out? No f***ing way."

One person commented: "People voted during covid.

"But not in 2024 ?"

Another typed: "I never want to be a conspiracy theorist but is this that 'secret' Trump was talking about? I mean, it seemed like he was barely even trying towards the end and didn’t really care."

While a third commented: "It stinks of s***. Even after all the votes are counted we’re still looking at 10-15 million missing after record turnout, record new registrations, high stakes on both sides."

With another adding: "It doesn't feel right. Every Dem I knew was voting. Republicans I know had crossed over to vote Dem. Something is wrong."

Following a heated campaign between Republican nominee Trump and Democratic nominee Vice-President Kamala Harris, the former ultimately came out on top - winning by a landslide.

He beat Harris in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and North Carolina, while also leading in Nevada and Arizona - and notably taking four of the five electoral voters in the hotly-contested state of Nebraska.

Declaring his victory last night, Trump said he had 'made history' as he was joined on stage by some of his key allies.

"Every single day I will be fighting for you, with every single breath in my body. I will not rest until we have delivered the strong, safe and prosperous America that children deserve," Trump said.

"And that you deserve. This will truly be the golden age for America."
