We are all currently witnessing an eerie prediction of Baba Vanga's playing out in front of us - and has been for months.
It is possibly the biggest continuous news story to have been covered by outlets around the world, and I'm not talking about the war in Eastern Europe or on the Gaza Strip; this one is closer to home for Americans.
The blind Bulgarian psychic passed away from breast cancer in Sofia, Blugaria, back in 1996 at the age of 84, but since her death, we've seen prediction after prediction come true.

Of all the clairvoyant's forecasts, the most horrifying is that in 1989, she spoke about the 9/11 attacks in eerie detail.
"Horror, horror! The American brethren will fall after being attacked by the steel birds. The wolves will be howling in a bush, and innocent blood will be gushing," the mystic reportedly said.
It is thought that the 'American brethren' refers to the Twin Towers, while the 'steel birds' supposedly are the hijacked planes. People have also pointed out the chilling use of the word 'bush,' with many interpreting it as reference to then-president of the US, George W. Bush.

Now, our eyes have been cast on the Vanga's prediction that there will be a 'worldwide economic disaster' in 2025 - which of course is being instigated by President Donald Trump who has placed tariffs between 10 and 50 percent on the majority of the world.
The 78-year-old Republican has even placed a tax on goods coming into the US from an island only inhibited by penguins and seals, although every nation facing reciprocal tariffs have been granted a 90-day pause on the charges.

That is except for China, with President Xi Jinping not backing down and instead retaliating each time a higher tariff was placed on its goods from the US, with an eye-watering 125 percent tax on US imports.

In response, the Trump administration has imposed a 245 percent tariff on Chinese imports.
So, fans of Vanga have seemingly rightfully pointed out that she has predicted the global trade war that has taken place since Trump reclaimed the office back on January 20.
Taking to Truth Social yesterday, the businessman-turned-president wrote: "THE BUSINESSMEN WHO CRITICIZE TARIFFS ARE BAD AT BUSINESS, BUT REALLY BAD AT POLITICS.

"THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND OR REALIZE THAT I AM THE GREATEST FRIEND THAT AMERICAN CAPITALISM HAS EVER HAD!"
Yes, there actually might be method in Trump's madness, in the sense that his administration is hoping for a level playing field with many countries slapping higher taxes on US imports than any other country.
Trump believes the pressure from the tariffs will eventually see the trade barriers reduced on US goods, while also hoping for more products to be produced domestically to greatly increase the American economy.
But while the US holds on hope, it must first brace for retaliatory tariffs - with costs passed onto consumers in the nation.
