TikToker Tineke 'Tini' Younger has shared her heartbreak after announcing the passing of one of her twin daughters.

In July, Younger announced to her 12 million followers that she was pregnant, with her expected due date being in November - almost exactly a year after she tied the knot with her partner, Antoine Wright Jr.

Many of Younger's fans, who first knew her from an appearance on Gordon Ramsay's Next Level Chef series, were along for the ride, witnessing her pregnancy journey, with the 24-year-old chef continuing to share her homely dishes throughout.

Just last month, the TikTok star shared her eggplant parm recipe to reference the fact that the 'twins are the size of eggplant.'

However, on Wednesday (November 26), Younger shared a heartbreaking post detailing how she had tragically lost one of the twins, named Arya, as a result of a 36-week placental abruption.

This condition occurs when the placenta detaches from the wall of the uterus, causing severe oxygen deprivation for the unborn infants contained in the sac and heavy bleeding for the mother, according to the Cleveland Clinic.

Placental abruption is considered an uncommon complication of pregnancy, with it occurring in 1 out of 100 pregnancies.

Cleveland Clinic lists some of the symptoms as abdominal pain, vaginal bleeding, intense contractions, back pain, and a lack of movement from the fetus.

"This isn't the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately, earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A)," she wrote in an Instagram post.

"We made it to almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl."

"Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own. They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister," she continued.

The chef added that she 'will be taking a break' following the birth, though she was 'not sure for how long' she would be gone, before adding: "I promise I will be back. I love you guys."
