For most of us in offices, Tuesday is just an extension of the drollness of Monday. But for some Chicago workers, that all changed after an active free climber was spotted scaling their 15th floor.

Stunned onlookers in the Accenture Tower quickly took out their smartphones to capture the daredevil climbing the 42-story 600-foot building without a rope or harness.

    Queue the sweaty palms!

Multiple videos from different vantage points have also begun to circulate on social media. Check it out:

One video, shared on Facebook by user Krista Sadler, showed the scale of the climb as it was taken from the ground, with multiple zoom ins needed to spot the climber.

Another showed the view from inside the building as the daredevil adjusted his body before climbing higher.

The climber was first spotted around 10 A.M. local time and Sadler even joked her day had quickly become more eventful before it had even hit midday.

Despite it being illegal to scale skyscrapers, many onlookers were more concerned about the logistics of the climb rather than whether the daredevil would get into any trouble.

“I've never really seen anything like that, so I wanted to see how he'd get down or how they got him down,” West Loop office worker Nana Busia told ABC7 Chicago.

"I was just excited to see something cool. You look outside, you see the same buildings every day, so when somebody says there was a guy walking up a building, we were all pretty eager to get out here and see it,” office worker Brionna Belcher told the publication.

But who exactly was the daredevil?

Pro-life activist Maison DesChamps has since taken credit for the climb, sharing his own video footage of the beginning of the climb on his Instagram page where he fittingly names himself the ‘pro-life Spiderman.’

His video shows footage of him during the climb, as well as the chaos unfolding below with the arrival of authorities and the fire department. The clip also shows him completing the climb and being apprehended at the top of the tower.

“Today I climbed the Accenture Tower in Chicago to raise support for Sierra, a mother who has an abortion scheduled for this Saturday, October 14th," DesChamps said on his Instagram post.

"At this time, I'm still in police custody. Stay tuned for updates."

DesChamps’ profile claims that he chooses to climb skyscrapers around the country in order to raise money for charities that support his anti-abortion stance.

UNILAD has contacted DesChamps and the Chicago Police Department for comment.
