A meeting between two sets of parents descended into chaos after one of them was shot, police have said.
The mom and dad of a teenage girl facilitated a meeting with Luther and Angelica Madison on March 17 to 'ask them for help in keeping the son away from their daughter as she is too young to be dating'.
But the parental meet up ended up turning violent and Angelica allegedly handed her husband a gun, which he's then accused of using to shoot the other father with.

It's unclear how the Madisons' son is, but both him and the girl he'd been dating are thought to be teenagers.

Police explained that a 'verbal and physical altercation ensued on the street and Luther Madison's wife had a gun in her pocket which was facilitated to him during the fight'.
The father of Madison's son's girlfriend sustained a gun shot wound to the chest in the ordeal. It's unknown what condition he's currently in, PEOPLE reports.

The victim's wife was also threatened with the gun, but isn't reported to have sustained any injuries, police said.
Police responded to the aggravated assault call in the 24400 block of Osprey Point Drive, and the Madisons went on to be arrested.

In a statement shared to Facebook, Constable Mark Herman said: "Luther Madison II and Angelica Madison were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Luther was charged with two counts of Aggravated assault with a Deadly Weapon. His total bond was set at $100,000.00.

"Angelica Madison was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $25,000.00 out of the 178th District Court."
According to Law & Crime, both alleged criminals are due back in court on May 20.
While these parents could be facing jail time for ending up in an altercation with another set of parents, Michael and Heather Martin previously faced being put behind bars after playing brutal pranks on their kids for content.

The Martins were the parents behind once-popular YouTube channel DaddyOFive, which garnered more than 175 million views on the video sharing platform before it was removed.
The page was shut down in 2018 after the mom and dad faced accusations of physical and psychological abuse on their children.
They never got jail time, however, and were placed on a five-year probation in 2017.
The Martins also lost custody of two of their five kids at the time.
