Four chilling words Denzel Washington once shouted at Diddy amid heated viral Cannes exchange

The two-time Oscar winner has gone viral for having stern words with a photographer, and it isn't the first time

A member of the paparazzi from Cannes Film Festival received both barrels from Denzel Washington after he appeared to tug at his suit jacket - a grilling which Diddy would likely tell you is not something you want to be on the end of.

The two-time Oscar winner was involved in a fiery exchange with the photographer on the red carpet yesterday (May 19), as he walked alongside co-stars of his latest movie Highest 2 Lowest.

The incident took place as the snapper leaned over the velvet rope to grab the attention of the 70-year-old, which angered the actor.

Then, when the New Yorker approached the man wagging his finger in his face while telling him never to do that again, the smiling photographer did so again.

Lip reader Jeremy Freeman explained to the Mail Online what he believed Washington was saying.

Turning to the photographers, according to Freeman, Washington appeared to say: “Hey, one - one more time, stop.

“Let me tell you - stop, stop - never put your hands on me again.

"I’m talking to you, stop, all right.”

Freeman told the publication that the photographer appeared to reply to the actor by saying ‘not allowed’ before laughing and adding: "Yes, yes, yes."

Seemingly unaware that Washington was being deadly serious, the snapper again grabs the Training Day actor asking him: "Can I take a picture?"

Washington seemingly tried to keep his temper in check, brushing off the grab and shouting back: "Stop, stop it, stop it. I mean it. Stop, stop it."

Now, let's hark back to the early 2000s, when Washington is claimed to have lost it with Sean 'Diddy' Combs while on a night out with his wife.

A source close to Combs shared with US Weekly: "[Washington and his wife, Pauletta] had been partying until dawn [with Combs], and they had seen something and stormed out."

But moments before The Equalizer actor rushed out of the nightclub, he allegedly gave the disgraced rapper a piece of his mind.

The insider told the publication: "Denzel screamed, ‘You don’t respect anyone'."

UNILAD has previously reached out to Combs and Washington's representatives for comment in relation to the incident.

Combs has been charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion - charges he's continued to deny.

The indictment accuses Combs and others in his enterprise of 'wield[ing] the power and prestige of Combs' role at the Combs Business to intimidate, threaten and lure female victims into Combs' orbit, often under the pretence of a romantic relationship'.

With the 'assistance of members and associates', the document claims Combs 'transported commercial sex workers across state lines and internationally' and 'then used force, threats of force, and coercion, to cause victims to engage in extended sex acts with male commercial sex workers that Combs referred to as, among other things, 'freak offs'.'
