Disturbing text messages Diddy allegedly exchanged with women prosecutors claim he assaulted were read out in court.
The rapper, whose real name is Sean Combs, was arrested at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, New York, on Monday evening (September 16) after being indicted by a grand jury.
The 54-year-old was charged with racketeering and sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion - charges of which he has pleaded not guilty.

The hip-hop mogul's homes in Los Angeles, California, and Miami, Florida, were subject to raids by Homeland Security back in March 'as part of an ongoing investigation'.
Speaking at the time, Diddy's attorney, Aaron Dyer, said: "Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way."
Now, Diddy has been denied bail for the second time after his attorney proposed a $50 million bond in exchange for his release to home detention with GPS monitoring. It was turned down on Tuesday (September 17).

Shocking texts were read out in court that chronicled a dialogue between himself and one of the alleged victim's who had been reading up on the case his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura had filed against him in November last year.
Diddy and Ventura's lawsuit was settled in just a day, though the terms of that settlement haven't been made public.
Prosecutor Emily Johnson read the text from the alleged victim in court that said: "I feel like I’m reading my own sexual trauma.
"It makes me sick how three solid pages word for word is exactly my experiences and my anguish."

The accused then began to 'gaslit' the woman, according to prosecutors, claiming he tried to 'convince her that she had willingly engaged in sex acts with him'.
Johnson shared text messages from women who claimed Combs forced them into 'Freak Offs'.
The prosecutor also read messages an unnamed victim allegedly penned to Combs that said: “You always want to show me that you have the power, and you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”

Johnson told the judge: “Witnesses have expressed to us their extreme fear of the defendant.”
However, Diddy's attorney Marc Agnifilo said: "The sex and the violence were totally separate and motivated by totally different things."
Diddy will remain in a cell while he awaits trial.
