A woman who tried to leave a restaurant in Florida without paying ended up having to return to the scene of the crime.
The awkward encounter was captured by a fellow diner, who shared a video on TikTok.
The woman, who visited the restaurant with another diner, tried to leave the LongHorn Steakhouse in Panama City Beach without paying the bill, but she was forced to make an embarrassing return.

The clip was shared by @missyp711 on TikTok who wrote: "Dined and dashed but the idiots forgot her purse [sic].
In the clip, the member of staff can be seen holding the purse, while the woman is screaming at them to hand it over.

“That’s my purse! Give me my s**t!” she says.
“He needs to hand me my purse."
The other diner can be seen telling the woman to chill out, before trying to have a conversation with the manager.

After heaps of people asked for an update, the TikToker confirmed that eventually, the woman paid and the purse was handed back.
"After fighting (screaming) the manager I think they paid," she said.
"She kept yelling wanting her property I believe the guy paid and they dashed again."
People were shocked at the clip, with one person commenting: "I wish you kept filming!"

Others shared their own similar stories, with another commenting: "This exact situation happened with my table.
"They decided to dine and dash and left behind a brand new iPhone 15... That phone is still at the restaurant to this day bc they refused to pay a $40 tab."
While another recalled: "Went to a restaurant by myself once. Toward the end went to the bathroom. Came back and my unfinished food was gone. They thought I dined and dashed and I'm like ummm can I get my bill."
And a fourth said: "I work at a restaurant at the airport. I’ve had a couple of dine and dashes. The ones I caught are oh so fun to catch when they realize I can take them off their flight, I just never have my phone out when it happens."

People also found it hilarious that the woman filming asked if she could 'wait a second' before being seated.
She clarified in the comments: "It was our turn to be seated and I’d already asked him if we could wait because I didn’t wanna walk through that with my kids."
