Donald Trump reveals who he 'always' thought killed JFK after releasing declassified files

Donald Trump gave some JFK conspiracy theories life with his latest comments

Donald Trump gave room for conspiracy theories when he revealed who he believes is responsible for the assassination of John F. Kennedy.

The assassination of the 35th POTUS John F. Kennedy - which happened in Dallas, Texas way back in November of 1963 - has remained a monumental moment in history.

The 43-year-old, who was affectionately referred to as JFK, was shot dead while riding in his motorcade.

Authorities have long held the position that the person responsible is Lee Harvey Oswald, a marine veteran who was camped out on the sixth-floor window of the Texas School Book Depository at around 12.30pm.

When he was in police custody, Oswald was being moved to a city jail when he was shot by a nightclub operator Jack Ruby. He would later die of his injuries.

Over the weekend, President Trump weighed in on the assassination of JFK and reflected on the release of the declassified JFK files.

While aboard Air Force One, Trump sat down with Clay Travis from OutKick and when asked if he believed Oswald was the one who killed Kennedy, the President responded: "I do."

"I do and I’ve always felt that," he added.

However, Trump did give room for some other theories, which have long circulated, and asked: "Of course, was he helped?"

The many conspiracy theories that claim Oswald had help point the finger at the US government, the Mafia, the CIA, the Cuban government, the KBG as well as other powerful global entities.

However, despite the many theories, all available evidence has pointed to Oswald working alone.

Those who wished to see their theories gain more validity were sorely mistaken when the JFK files were released earlier this month, however.

Only a few days into office, Trump signed an executive order to release classified files on his assassination but not much new information was really garnered from the 80,000 pages of released documents.

Many people took to social media to complain that what was released was already made public by the Biden administration two years before.

Taking to Twitter, one user wrote: "Just ran the JFK files thought chat gpt. It's the same s*** Biden released. MAGAs got f***ing played again."

A second typed: "The JFK Files contain REDACTED versions of files that have already been released un-redacted. Just like with the Epstein Files. We’ve been played."

While a third reacted: "WOW! Did Trump really just release all of the same JFK files that Biden released in 2023?"
